Bowers & Wilkins announce the launch of the CI 800 Series

CI 300 Series

Three speakers make up the CI 300 series: CWM362, CCM362 & CCM382. They share their cut out sizes with the CI 600 series and therefore utilise the same backboxes, premount kits and square grille adaptors. However, CI 300 speakers also has some fundamental differences. With a minimal depth ranging from 3'' for the CWM362 to 3.4" for the CCM382 this range of speakers can be used in walls and ceilings where space behind the speaker is an issue. Each model also features a soft dome tweeter and polypropylene bass/midrange cone ensuring that the speakers have sufficient moisture proofing to allow installation into areas such as saunas and indoor swimming pools.

The ISW-3 subwoofer offers multiple mounting options including in-ceiling, in-cupboard and under-floor, and can be used with CI 300, CI 600 or CI 700 series speakers. Powered by the SA250 Mk2, a separate audiophile-standard 250W Class D amplifier, ISW-3 is the first Bowers & Wilkins custom installation subwoofer to feature mechanically balanced drive units to minimise vibration. The drivers vent through a waveguide which enables the visible grill of the speaker to be greatly reduced making ISW-3 our most discreet subwoofer yet.
